Zone 2 Region Support Was Provided Virtually
An extended vacation and family emergency keep me away from the Zone and Region visits for most of the quarter. Support to the Zone 2 Regions was provided virtually to include approval of subsidies, coordination on certificates of insurance and discussion options for replacing board members.
Zone 2 unincorporation is on track. The financials are stable after the VIR Club Race and we will be prepared to distribute the funds by the end of the year. A Region President’s meeting is planned for 14th of November to discuss the details.
The Zone 2 Regions held some great events during the quarter including the Pocono Region‘s 50th Anniversary, another very successful Rock the Summit Club Race run by the Potomac Region, The Chesapeake Region’s Chesapeake Challenge, the Shenandoah Region’s Richmond Porsche Meet and support to the VIR Corral and Hospitality Tent.
